Before the year 2018 ends, it’s time to celebrate early Christmas and recap all what we have achieved, failed and learned in the past year. On Wednesday 19th December, Digital Bootcamp Asia and Tolmao Grouporganized a special Marketing Meetup event at WeWork Xujiahui.
Three industry experts were invited to join the panel discussion to talk about the marketing trends in the past of 2018 and their perspectives toward the coming of 2019. The first expert was Alex Duncan; Co-Founder & Product Lead of KAWO which is specialized in making international brands loved in Social media in China. Following by, Thomas Knoop who is General Manager and Co-Founder of Livecom- the China market leader in the areas of customer communication and online conversion solutions. Last but not least was e-commerce specialist; DominiekPouwer- Director of TMO Group providing integrated solutions for the entire e-commerce value chain. Together with those speakers, the panel discussion was moderated by Natasha Fang the Founder & CEO of Tolmao Group & Digital Bootcamp Asia.
The discussion was full of fun and knowledgeable that each speakers and audiences exchanged opinions about the marketing trends and news in China during the past 2018, such as Dolce & Gabbana marketing “issue”, fallingstars challenge- the big trend of celebrities in social media, the new movement of food delivery service application ‘饿了么’ etc. Moreover, some suggestions to deal with challenges of the foreign startups in China were also given in the perspective of the industry experts.
This event was a huge success, around 200 people have participated in the panel discussion, lucky draw activities and networking party afterwards. The night was even more spectacular with the upbeat songs by DJ-Chris and tasty light appetizer and beverages prepared by Tolmao Group Team.
